Our Story
Coffee and tea, the way they're meant to taste
Breakwater Farm started with a simple frustration: most coffee sits on a shelf for weeks or months before anyone brews it. By then, the aromas that make a great cup have faded. We love coffee and tea too much to settle for that, so we built a shop around one idea — freshness.
Roasted after you order, not before
We don't keep warehouses full of roasted coffee. When you place an order, your beans are roasted in small batches by our partner roaster, then packed and shipped — usually the same day. Your coffee arrives at its peak, not at the end of a long trip through a supply chain.
Why fresh grinding matters
Coffee starts losing flavor the moment it's ground. Ground coffee that's been stored for weeks tastes flat next to coffee ground close to brewing. That's why every order is ground to your choice — Standard (drip), Espresso or Coarse (French press and cold brew) — right after roasting and sealed immediately. For the very freshest cup, choose Whole Bean and grind just before you brew.
Specialty-grade beans from around the world
Our single origins come from growing regions such as Guatemala, Colombia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Peru, Sumatra and Bali, alongside house blends, naturally flavored coffees, coffee pods and a range of loose-leaf teas. Each product page lists the roast level and tasting notes so you can find your cup.
Sustainable for Life
Roasting to order means less waste: we only roast what our customers will actually drink. Several of our coffees are certified organic or Fair Trade, and we're always working to add more responsibly sourced options.
